Pay Range: $75 - $82 per hour
Job Summary:
This is a hybrid position based in the San Francisco office of a dynamic firm, requiring the successful candidate to engage in design, coding, testing, and debugging of new/existing software components. The role demands developing scalable, customer-facing web and software applications with a focus on backend development utilizing Node.js and AWS services, aimed at meeting business and quality standards. With an initial contract offering high potential for extension, work hours will align with the PST time zone, complemented by occasional office meet-ups.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, code, test, debug, and document new and existing components for meeting business and operational needs. Build high-quality code with unit testing and test-driven development. Develop scalable, customer-facing web and software applications with 5+ years of experience. Experience with REST and the capability to build REST APIs, significantly preferring NodeJS. Deploy apps in AWS or similar cloud infrastructure and handle CI/CD with tools like Git and Jenkins.
Must-Have Skills:
Proficient in Node.js and backend development. Experienced in AWS deployment and management. Solid understanding and experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
