Systems Administrator/Cyber Security Analyst
located in Burnsville, MN. This role involves maintaining, upgrading, and securing the organization's IT infrastructure, working closely with IT teams to ensure smooth system and network operations, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing new technologies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with Support Systems teams to resolve internal issues. Create and resolve tickets for service requests using BMS, projects via QUIP, and document in Kaseya IT Glue. Use Kaseya & LogMeIn for RMM/MSP tasks. Perform hands-on fixes at desktop and server levels, including software installation, hardware setup, and system configuration. Meet with IT Manager to discuss enhancements and defect resolutions. Test fixes, follow up post-resolution, and test new products/applications. Support customers in learning new products and determine fit. Manage non-sale System Software Updates, perform preventative maintenance, and document all end-user information. Travel to customer sites or attend seminars as needed. Perform backups, disaster recovery, and manage servers, OS, and virtualization. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement security measures. Network Administration Configure and maintain network devices, monitor traffic, troubleshoot issues, and manage VPN connections. Technical Support Provide end-user support, respond to tickets, and train users on IT systems. Project Management Lead or participate in system upgrade and migration projects, develop plans, and coordinate with teams. Documentation and Training Develop SOPs, document procedures, and conduct training sessions. Security Monitoring and Incident Response Monitor security alerts, analyze incidents, coordinate responses, and document lessons learned. Vulnerability Management Conduct assessments, prioritize vulnerabilities, and implement scanning tools. Security Policy and Compliance Develop policies, conduct training, and perform compliance audits. Threat Intelligence and Analysis Stay informed on threats, analyze data, and implement detection measures. Security Tools Management Maintain security tools, configure controls, evaluate new tools, and perform other duties as assigned. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Manage tickets and projects thoroughly. Update documentation in QUIP, IT Glue, etc. Provide friendly, quality customer service. Adapt to tools like QUIP, IT Glue, LogMeIn, Kaseya.
