Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage cardiovascular and cardiothoracic conditions in an ICU and step-down unit.
- Operate and monitor medical equipment such as balloon pumps, central lines, and chest tubes.
- Handle patient admissions, discharges, and consultations.
- Ensure the comprehensive documentation of patient care activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.
Additional Information
- Required Certification: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Pennsylvania.
- EMR System Used: Epic
- Experience in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic ICU required.
- Applicants should not be new graduates.
