Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) works collaboratively with patients, physicians and staff to assess, diagnose and
treat the conditions of patients.
Essential Functions
Diagnosing and treating skin conditions, diseases and disorders. Conducting thorough patient consultations and examinations. Providing patient education on disease prevention and skin carePerforming skin biopsies and other minor dermatological procedures. Ensuring high patient satisfaction through attentive education, follow-ups and post-treatment care. Proactively engaging in continuing education to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge. Following HIPAA/SOHA guidelines to maintain safety for patients and team members.
Education And/or Work Experience Requirements
Active, unrestricted PA or APRN Florida license. Board certification required. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in dermatology with proven experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range
of dermatological conditions.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and composure. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR). ModMed’s EMA is preferred
Physical Requirements
Must be able to spend a great deal of the day walking, standing, moving and manipulating equipment, as well as lifting
and moving objects, equipment and supplies. It is reasonable to anticipate lifting 20-25 pounds in any given day.
