Key Responsibilities Shifts available: Full-time, Part-time, and Per Diem! Your primary responsibilities as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) include but are not limited to: Assisting Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in performing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and routine care. Conducting treatments for residents/patients. Administering medications according to physician orders and the Plan of Care. Submitting pharmacy orders accurately. Documenting and recording all relevant information diligently. Administering injections of prescribed medications. Monitoring resident health and communicating current conditions to RNs, Supervisors, and Physicians. Taking vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight. Providing basic care, including wound cleaning and bandaging. Managing IVs and starting IV drips. Tracking fluid and food intake and output. Observing and reporting incidents, accidents, and any signs of skin breakdowns. Assisting in the admissions process as directed.
