Our affiliated practice, Square Care Medical in East Setauket, NY, is seeking an experienced OBGYN Nurse Practitioner. The position involves 30 hours per week seeing OB and GYN patients in the clinic. Candidates must have at least two years of experience working independently in an OBGYN clinic. Position Highlights
No call requirements Weekday hours only, including one evening shift until 7 pm Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record patient health history Prescribe medications and therapies; order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures Provide pre- and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling Fully licensed medical team and support staff Compensation and Benefits

National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain Unrestricted, active licensure in NY or ability to obtain Current unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain CPR, BLS, and NALS certification or ability to obtain Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans Excellent communication skills with patients, team members, and management Ability to make independent care decisions based on best medical practices Minimum two years of full-time experience working as a WHNP About Unified Women’s Healthcare
