AI Expert (Senior Engineer)
to lead the development of local Large Language Models (LLMs) for
Personally Identifiable Information (PII) detection
across our data ecosystem. This role involves building and fine-tuning custom LLMs capable of identifying PII in documents, databases, knowledge graphs, source code, and other platforms. The models must handle data at scale (50+ PB) and be regularly retrained. The Senior Engineer will design and implement AI solutions using technologies like Ray, llama.cpp, ollama, vLLM, and PyTorch, deploying on Azure and on-premises infrastructure. You will develop generative AI agents leveraging data schemas and metadata to improve detection accuracy. Collaboration with data engineering, security, and compliance teams is essential to ensure models meet industry regulations (GDPR, CCPA, PCI DSS, etc.). Responsibilities include: Designing, training, fine-tuning, and optimizing local LLMs and NLP models for PII detection across various data types. Developing generative AI agents (using Autogen/Langgraph) for schema- and metadata-based detection. Utilizing AI frameworks (Ray, llama.cpp, ollama, vLLM, PyTorch) for efficient deployment and scaling. Implementing solutions on cloud and on-premises infrastructure with high performance and reliability. Working with cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with business and regulatory requirements. Leading a team of AI engineers, providing mentorship and technical guidance. Monitoring and maintaining model performance, with regular retraining. Ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations. Qualifications: Experience with AI frameworks such as Ray, llama.cpp, ollama, vLLM, PyTorch. Expertise in LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RLHF techniques. Hands-on deployment experience in Azure and on-premises environments. Familiarity with large-scale data (50+ PB) and distributed computing paradigms. Knowledge of MCP servers and security practices. Strong Python programming skills and experience with ML libraries. Ability to collaborate across security, compliance, and data engineering teams. Awareness of Differential Privacy and Federated Learning is a plus. Preferred: Knowledge of data security, compliance frameworks, and responsible AI practices. Experience in financial, payments, or security-related AI applications. We offer: Work on cutting-edge projects. Collaborate with a motivated team. Benefits including medical insurance, sports, and social events. A well-equipped office environment.
