The Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology has over 110 faculty members, focusing on general hematology, solid tumor oncology, bone marrow transplant & cellular therapy, hematological malignancies, and palliative medicine. It oversees community practices (CHO) and collaborates with the VA Medical Center. Annually, over 5,000 new patients are enrolled in our clinical practices.

Position Details
The Knight Cancer Institute, an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center, is hiring an Assistant/Associate Professor with a focus in lymphoma. This role is ideal for candidates with clinical and/or laboratory research experience, a strong record of funding, and publications.
Responsibilities
- Participate in medical education for students and residents
- Provide care for patients with hematologic and oncologic diseases
- Engage in scholarly activities to improve understanding of cancer causes
- Participate in administrative committees and public service activities
The faculty position includes clinical, teaching, research, and service components, with academic rank based on qualifications.
Qualifications
- MD or MD/PhD
- Licensed to practice in Oregon
- Board-certified in Internal Medicine
- Board-eligible/certified in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, research, and teaching
Preferred Skills
- Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration
- Success in obtaining research funding
