This position requires ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance with ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance prior to start. This OpenShift Administrator role will support Lockheed Martin (LM) Space disconnected/private cloud, providing Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions for program-wide application deployments. This position will report directly to the LM IT Operations Manager and work closely with the team to ensure the efficient operation of the cloud environment. Responsibilities include: Assist in the maintenance and operation of N number of disconnection cloud-native container platforms, including support for lifecycle automation, container image synchronization, and security signing. Contribute to the planning, execution, and growth of the persistence layer for an East/West, active/active or primary/secondary container-platform architectures, with a focus on supporting military-grade security hardening and digital integrity of container images, and automation packages. Participate in the horizontal integration process with LM Space and Business Area (BA) peers to ensure seamless collaboration and information exchange. Apply expertise in IT Infrastructure and cybersecurity principles to support digital transformation and modernization effort, ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards, including DoD Cybersecurity, Cyber DFAR, and Risk Management Framework. Basic Qualifications
Experience in supporting and sustaining of a disconnected, private Platform as a Service (PaaS) environment. Familiarity with the following: - Ansible - Satellite - Programming/Software Architecture (basic-level) - Harbor - Kubernetes/OpenShift (or another distribution) Must be a United States citizen, no dual citizenship. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance AND ability to obtain an Interim Secret prior to start. DoD Cybersecurity Workforce IAT certification (CISSP or Security+), or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Desired Skills
DoD Cybersecurity Workforce IAT certification - CISSP or Security+. Experience with NIST 800-53 and 800-171 compliance. Experience with the following products/tools: - Python, bash scripting, SBOM, Helm, API fundamentals - Podman/Docker, git - Linux Core OS, SELinux, NFS - HAproxy, Nginx, Splunk - NetApp Trident or Astra - VMWare, VSphere Strong motivation and ability to prioritize tasks within multiple projects. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
