The incumbent serves as the Chief of the Safety Services Division and reports to the Director of ISS. The incumbent manages a variety of agency programs related to work areas, processes, and equipment to ensure the safety and environmental health of Library staff, researchers, and visitors. The incumbent serves as the principal safety and occupational health subject matter expert for the Library and represents the Library on federal and national safety committees.
