Provide software engineering support to the National Cyber Range FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING #LI-DH1 Requirements
Bachelor's degree with a focus in computer science, computer engineering or a focus in computer and information sciences, information technology, management information systems, or a related discipline with corresponding experience Two (2)+ years' of related, proven experience performing similar duties Intermediate knowledge of DevOps methodologies and tools Basic knowledge of Elastic Stack, programming language theory, operating systems, networking, and enterprise IT concepts, architectures, and systems Intermediate level knowledge of Python and C/C++ development Ability and experience effectively communicating technical and programmatic issues Knowledge of PowerShell and POSIX shell scripting and virtualization and containerization technologies Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively and accurately convey status and identify, assess, and communicate risks Desired Skills
Five (5)+ years' of related, proven experience performing similar duties Two (2)+ years of proven experience developing cyber range tools, including deployment automation, configuration automation, monitoring, and traffic generation Intermediate knowledge of software development methodologies, including agile development Intermediate knowledge of PowerShell and POSIX shell scripting and virtualization and containerization technologies Direct experience using automated infrastructure configuration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and Chef Experience building and/or maintaining complex enterprise infrastructures using various operating systems and services Working knowledge of SQL and non-SQL databases Familiarity with commercial cloud architectures, operations, and administration TS/SCI Desired, but not required to start Clearance Information
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET LEVEL WITH SCI ELIGIBILITY
