Description
The Director MCVI Disease Center Outcomes & Quality functions as primary liaison & support to Chief Medical Executive over Quality & Outcomes for BHSF. This position is responsible for the identification, development, implementation, coordination, evaluation & maintenance of cardiac & vascular disease center performance improvement initiatives for BHSF. Utilizes available analytics to meet quality initiatives. Specific attention will focus on STS data and registry reporting in cardiovascular disease, and continuous process improvement will be an important goal. Provides direct oversight to multiple support teams which include various disease center teams. Leads or supports performance improvement projects & committees. Utilizes system thinking when developing & conducting programs that support & improve quality management & clinical performance. Promotes professional development of team members & leadership. Focus on Hospital Data Insights for enhancing national reputation. Represents center of excellence across healthcare system for BHSF.
Qualifications
Degrees:
Masters
Licenses & Certifications
Certified professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) in quality assurance preferred
Additional Qualifications
Prior experience in leadership role. Experience in analyzing data, reporting results, and initiating action plans and/or programs for improvement. Able to relate to and motivate hospital employees and medical staff. Able to plan, organize, and direct activities required. Skilled facilitator with effective communication skills. Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams to develop, implement cardiac & vascular disease centers throughout BHSF. Think with the end in mind.
