Qualifications: Must possess a CDL Class A license Currently hold or have the ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years 3-year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents Adhere to all federal and/or state laws and safety regulations Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function English language proficiency is required for compliance with federal law Must be able to work the required schedule and undergo a background investigation and drug screening This is a safety-sensitive position, regulated by the Department of Transportation, where constant alertness and awareness of safety are vital. Physical Requirements: Ability to see and hear; specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment Frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting are essential to the role Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50lbs (23kg) and occasionally up to 100lbs (45kg) Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit both the vehicle and its cargo area Penske is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
