We are seeking an assembler to join our team. Under limited supervision, you will perform electronic, electromechanical, or mechanical production sub-assembly and assembly operations to build and assemble units of moderate complexity. Work from production/assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions, and notes to assemble, wire, and install a wide variety of components. Identify and select components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units. Utilize small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and hammers. Work in a brand new manufacturing facility in Lenexa, which is climate controlled and offers a very nice building and atmosphere. The 1st shift runs from either 5am to 3:30pm or 6am to 4:30pm Monday-Thursday, with availability required for Fridays as needed. The 2nd shift operates from 2:30pm to 1am Monday-Thursday, with Fridays as needed. Be prepared to start your shift at either 5am or 6am, as it varies per department. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
