Our Savannah River Mill in Rincon, GA began operations in October 1986 and is considered a world-class operation in the industry. Five of the world's 12 largest tissue paper machines reside at the facility. Our operation is designed to produce products primarily from recycled fiber. We have over 50 converting lines that make the tissue, towel, and napkin products in our retail and away from home markets. Collaborate with other work groups including maintenance, operations, engineering, and external resources as needed to help develop proactive path forward for equipment issues. This includes equipment/system upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance rebuilds. Develop knowledge and skills necessary to provide technical oversight of the Yankee Dryer compliance/reliability program through assisting the current leader. Monitor equipment value creation opportunities and asset performance using appropriate reliability data analysis, metrics (MTBF), and KPI's. Provide technical support and drive asset improvement by supporting condition monitoring programs including predictive (PdM), lubrication, and precision installation practices. Provide appropriate design for reliability engineering criteria input to capital projects. Lead problem solving and troubleshooting efforts including formal root-cause failure analysis (RCAs) where needed to develop solutions and implement reliability strategies. Collaborate with other work groups to drive implementation of reliability strategy improvements. Promote use of appropriate tools and best available technology including failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA), reliability centered maintenance (RCM) programs, life-cycle analysis, and condition monitoring techniques. Work toward excellence in Environmental, Health, and Safety and compliance by participation in safety initiatives, identifying, and resolving hazards with critical and high risks. Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering Reliability engineering experience in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated working knowledge of reliability programs (Analysis, RCA, PdM, preventative maintenance, lubrication, equipment installation and repair) Experience with condition monitoring techniques including vibration analysis Non-Destructive testing experience or qualifications ASNT-TC1A Level I or II (or equivalent) in Vibration Analysis Lubrication Level I certification (Noria or equivalent) Experience with advanced equipment monitoring and troubleshooting techniques such as Modal and ODS Analysis, and Motion Amplifications Analysis Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) SAP experience As a Koch company and a leading manufacturer of bath tissue, paper towels, paper-based packaging, cellulose, specialty fibers, building products and much more, Georgia-Pacific works to meet evolving needs of customers worldwide with quality products.
