Troop Veterinary Services in Marion, IL is seeking a
Medical Director
to lead our thriving small animal practice. Recognized as one of CareVet's premier centers, our hospital has proudly served the Marion community for over 34 years and continues to set the standard for compassionate, high-quality veterinary care in the region.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong and experienced veterinarian who is passionate about mentorship, leadership, and delivering top-tier medicine. You will work alongside three skilled Associate DVMs and an exceptional support team in a well-equipped and respected facility that values teamwork, collaboration, and medical excellence.

Your Role as Medical Director:
As Medical Director, you will serve as the clinical leader of the hospital, guiding the medical team and ensuring the delivery of exceptional care. You'll be responsible for mentoring Associate DVMs, supporting their growth, and helping them succeed professionally. In partnership with the Practice Manager, you will contribute to hospital operations, strategic planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will help foster a positive, team-focused culture where both staff and clients feel supported and valued.

Pay Range:
$120,000-$150,000 annually,depending on position, location, and experience.

The ideal candidate is someone who values community and diversity and is passionate about people and pets! This is a great opportunity for an experienced veterinarian with a desire to lead our practice. The incoming Veterinarian will be responsible for overseeing all professional services, implementing veterinary and patient care policies and procedures, licenses, and related matters, and will ultimately serve as "Veterinarian in charge."
