As a Full Stack Engineer at Mednet, you will be responsible for driving the development and migration of our platforms. You'll work on our new tech stack, primarily utilizing Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and React. Additionally, you will be instrumental in the migration of legacy systems built with PHP and MySQL to the modern stack. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the technology that supports a mission-driven organization that helps doctors save lives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of our platforms using Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and React.
• Work on migrating existing systems and pages from PHP and MySQL to our new tech stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code while following best practices in software development.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to industry standards.
• Optimize application performance to ensure smooth and responsive user experiences.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the stability and security of our systems.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate them into our development processes where appropriate.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and help shape the direction of our technology stack.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Strong proficiency with Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and React.
• Solid experience with PHP and MySQL, with a focus on migrating legacy codebases to modern frameworks.
• Proficiency in utilizing best practices to design and implement scalable and efficient software
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure, especially AWS, is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and results-driven environment.
• A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
