Job Purpose
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Location: Lynnwood, WA Job Type: PRN Pay: $28.79 - $35.21 per hour (DOE)
Position Overview
Provide daily physical therapy treatment and component assessments to clients at Convivio Health under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). Client care involves addressing physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral conditions as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
Duties and Responsibilities
Client Care
Assist PT in implementing treatment programs and progression Guide clients through program orientation and provide ongoing education Modify client programs as directed by the PT Monitor clients and clinic environment to ensure safety Collaborate with PT on exercise program changes and progression Review client progress and challenges daily with PT Administer evaluation components after achieving documented competence Distribute and collect customer service surveys Participate in weekly client care conferences, staff meetings, and CARF program responsibilities (e.g., Health and Safety, Annual Planning) Written Documentation
Complete daily notes for each treatment session, including corresponding charges, by the end of the day Assist with assigned evaluation sections Contribute to quality assurance (QA) efforts for documentation and programs Track professional competencies (e.g., ROM, MMT, modality use) established with PT Complete additional documentation as assigned Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program Current, unrestricted Washington State PTA license (free of disciplinary action) Current CPR certification Preferred: 1+ year experience in a rehabilitation setting Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general Windows applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage sensitive cases with flexibility, diplomacy, and confidentiality Safe and effective operation of exercise and treatment modality equipment Working Conditions
