Provide comprehensive instruction on human performance as it relates to all aspects of strength and conditioning. Develop and design plans to improve athletic performance, developing speed, strength, power, and endurance in accordance with sport. Implement strength and conditioning programs in consideration of sports performance curriculum. Provide compliant strength and conditioning education and information to athletes, coaches, and clients. Coordinate communication with athlete, agents, sport coaches, athletic trainers, healthcare providers, and others to promote a team approach to athlete strength and conditioning development. Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Exercise Physiologist credentialed from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) preferred. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Additional Preferences: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or related field 2+ years of experience working in strength and conditioning, ideally in an industrial or occupational setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ascension St. Vincent in Indiana has been providing rewarding careers in healthcare for over 148 years.
