Staffmark is currently seeking a dedicated Extruder Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Van Wert, OH. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to thrive in a hands-on production environment.
Pay: $16.00/hour
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Schedule: Rotating 2-2-3 schedule (includes weekends)
Responsibilities:
Meet daily production targets Change screens every hour Catch and recycle materials from the screen changer, diverter, and vent Skim water holding tanks hourly Keep extruder vent clear at all times Complete all required paperwork accurately Assist feeder operations to maintain a full extruder Properly package pellets using appropriate boxes and skids Clean Gaylord liners and weigh finished product Fill out and apply PRT labels Store finished materials and reprocess overflow as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area
