Our highly reputable and fast-paced workers' compensation and personal injury law firm is currently seeking a full-time experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join our team immediately. This position is based in our Frederick office and offers an excellent opportunity for growth and professional development. Experience is a similar position is preferred.
Responsibilities:
As a Workers' Compensation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting our attorneys and providing exceptional support to our clients. Some key responsibilities will include: Maintaining up-to-date and accurate case notes in our advanced case management system Efficiently handling the opening and processing of cases/files, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained Client Communications Requesting and organizing supporting documentation Filing necessary forms and documents with the MD Workers' Compensation Commission Prepare cases for hearings

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. In addition, the ideal candidate should have the following qualifications: Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and colleagues Proficiency in using MS Office applications to streamline administrative tasks Strong multitasking abilities to handle a high volume of work independently Composure in fast-paced situations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail A positive and can-do attitude that fosters teamwork and a supportive work environment

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
