We are seeking a Paramedic Emergency Room for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. You will provide supportive care to the Emergency Department patients under the direct supervision of the registered nurse or physician. You will perform approved procedures, take vital signs, report abnormal results, take height and weight measurements, place ECG electrodes, assist with setting up oxygen, and more. Qualifications include 1 year of prior hospital and/or EMS experience preferred, EKG and phlebotomy experience preferred, and certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Cardiac Life Support, PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, and Certified Critical Care Paramedic Certified (CCP-C), or Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMP). HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is a 530+ bed hospital where sophisticated, world-class medicine meets the comfort, care, and convenience of a community hospital. We are a Level II Trauma Center and the only exclusive heart hospital south of Houston. We offer a variety of other services, including Woman Services, Pediatric Care, Breast Diagnostic Center, ACR-accredited Imaging Center, Wound Care Treatment Center featuring Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, and much more.
