Part-Time Nurse Practitioner
to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Conduct patient histories and physical examinations, provide immunizations as needed, and educate and counsel patients. Order and perform appropriate lab tests, including drawing blood and conducting wet prep microscopic exams. Prescribe treatment for minor illnesses and consult with physicians as necessary regarding medications and referrals. Maintain thorough and accurate medical documentation, including follow-up on abnormal results. Participate in case conferences and continuing education to enhance your skills and knowledge. Engage in quality improvement programs and team meetings. Apply age-specific care considerations to patient treatment and education. Adhere to OSHA standards for infection control practices. Meet productivity, quality, and patient satisfaction benchmarks. Qualifications: Master's Degree in Nursing. A valid Nurse Practitioner license in New York State along with CPR/BLS certification. 5-8 years of relevant experience; preference for candidates with 8+ years.
