www.chamberlain.edu . Opportunity at a Glance Chamberlain College of Nursing seeks qualified part-time Mental Health Clinical Faculty in our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in Massachusetts. The role involves onsite clinical teaching with most rotations lasting 12 hours (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) for three to four consecutive days. Mental Health Nursing Course Overview: This course emphasizes the dynamics of an individual's ability to function in society, covering topics such as anxiety, self-concept, thought disorders, mood alterations, addictive behaviors, organic brain dysfunction, abuse, and violence issues. It also includes health promotion, wellness, stress management, personal growth, therapeutic communication, individual and group therapy, and community mental health resources. We need passionate nurses eager to share their expertise and advance their careers through education. Join us in making a difference! Responsibilities Implement college philosophy, curriculum, and course objectives through clinical teaching and community service. Manage all aspects of individual teaching assignments independently. Plan clinical experiences, supervise, and evaluate nursing students providing care to individuals or groups. Provide documented performance feedback to students. Offer remediation when needed. Stay current with clinical policies and procedures. Develop and assign clinical tasks suited to students' knowledge and skills. Grade assignments promptly. Potentially teach didactic content under supervision. Communicate student and agency issues to the course coordinator and dean.
