Restaurant Relief Food Server - Part Time
Schedule: Full Time Location: Reno, NV Salary: $12.00 plus Tips! Minimum/Preferred Requirements: Previous restaurant experience preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Excellent time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends. Dedicated to meeting and exceeding expectations. Respectful and trustworthy individual. Consistently exhibits courteous and respectful communication. Contributes to a positive work environment. Meets requirements of regular attendance. Age Required: Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Physical Demands: Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure. Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino. Speak and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Reach with hands and arms above shoulder level; bend/stoop, squat, balance, kneel, lift and push/pull. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: Regularly exposed to a smoke-filled environment. Noise level is usually loud. Job Responsibilities/Duties: Believe and demonstrate the GSR Vision and Mission Statement. Take beverage orders from restaurant customers and input orders into POS system. Deliver orders following required standards. Prepare tableside items as requested by customer; anticipate guest's needs. Complete all side work including but not limited to: wiping down stations, re-stocking supplies, etc. Polish silver, buff glasses, set-up service cart, etc. in order to prepare tables and stations. Breakdown stations, carts and tables at close of restaurant. Explain menu to the guests and answer any questions they may have. Always check on quality of food and service to ensure excellent guest service.
