Position Overview The Department of Information Systems, Analytics and Supply Chain Management at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor of Information Systems for the Fall of 2025 semester beginning September 3rd, 2025. This position is to teach the following classes: CIS 385 (Management Information Systems) MW 11:30AM-01:00PM CIS 385 (Management Information Systems) MW 01:10PM-02:40PM
CIS 385 Course Description: This course will enhance students' digital dexterity and familiarity with existing and emerging information technologies, emphasizing skills of abstraction in relation to digital strategy and organizational change, innovation, analytics, and ethics. This course will also provide hands-on experience with at least one essential business technology. At the completion of the course, students will have an understanding of the business-related, policy, societal, and ethical implications associated with modern information systems. Salary is $4,133.31 for a 3 credit course. Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience The successful candidate should possess a Master's or advanced degree, and/or equivalent degree/credentials in Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field. Prior teaching experience of Information Systems, or Business Analytics, and related courses at either the undergraduate or graduate level is required.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience Strong industry experiences in relevant fields and/ or a PhD are a plus.
