Position Overview:
The Nursing Assistant plays a crucial role in aiding patients with their fundamental needs and daily living activities under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) or licensed practical nurses (LPNs). In this role, you will enhance patient care coordination and support a safe, clean environment for our patients. Key Responsibilities: Provide compassionate care to meet patients' physical and psychosocial needs. Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. Communicate any changes in patient status or concerns to the RN or LPN. Document and report vital patient information accurately. Ensure a safe environment that promotes positive patient outcomes. Demonstrate flexibility and organizational skills, even in stressful situations. Transport patients safely throughout the facility as needed. Perform specific clinical duties as trained, including telemetry application and EKGs. Education and Certification Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of a certified nursing assistant program is preferred. Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification is required upon hire. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within the introductory orientation period.
