Payroll Manager (1-2x a month in office) We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of payroll operations for a large and diverse workforce exceeding 7,000 employees. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining compliance with all regulations, and leveraging AI to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the payroll function. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the payroll team: Supervise, train, and develop a team of payroll specialists, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning. Oversee end-to-end payroll processing: Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a large employee base, including salaries, wages, bonuses, deductions, and benefits, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Leverage AI for enhanced efficiency and accuracy: Utilize AI-powered tools and solutions to automate repetitive tasks like data entry and data validation, improve payroll processing efficiency, and minimize the risk of human error. Ensure compliance with regulations: Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws, including FLSA and other relevant legislation, and ensure the organization's payroll practices adhere to them. Implement process improvements: Identify opportunities to improve existing payroll processes, implement automation solutions, and optimize workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy. Manage payroll software and systems: Oversee the administration and maintenance of the organization's payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, etc.), ensure data integrity and security, and manage updates and enhancements as needed. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders: Work closely with HR, finance, and IT teams to ensure integrated systems, accurate deductions, and seamless data flow.
