The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and with a team, while consistently delivering exceptional customer service.\nEssential Functions:\n1.

Protect family and friends.

Follow all Company Safety Policies and Procedures as well as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations and guidelines. Support business activities, objectives, and programs. Maintain a safe work environment. Organize and maintain clean work area. Clean shop area free of hazards as mandated by OSHA regulations. Respond to emergency breakdowns or equipment failures on-site in a timely manner.\n2.

Mastery.

Travel to job locations to service equipment by troubleshooting issues, performing inspections, repairs, and installations efficiently. Remain open to new ways of doing things - actively experiment, leverage technology, and engage new ideas.\n3.

Results matter.

Show determination and drive in getting the job done with high quality outcomes. Ensure equipment is properly repaired on a timely basis. Perform complete inspections of equipment and report repairs issues to Equipment Manager. Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of heavy equipment including heavy mining equipment, loaders, haul trucks, asphalt pavers, rollers, milling machines, and other related machinery.\n4.

Keep accurate and detailed records of repairs, diagnostics, parts used, and services performed.\nComplete all required paperwork on a timely basis.\n5.

Perform regular preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on various types of heavy machinery and vehicles.\n6.

Identify faulty components and replace worn-out or damaged parts (engine parts, transmissions, hydraulic components, etc.).\n7.

Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and services performed, along with inventory management for parts and tools.\n8.

Work closely with other team members and management to prioritize and complete work efficiently.

Requirements, Education and Experience:\n1. 0-2 years of experience in the service repair industry (Auto/Heavy Truck and Equipment experience preferred)\n2. Must have valid driver’s license.\n3. Knowledge of gas and diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems.\n4. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.\n5. Flexibility to meet the company’s needs.\n6. This position works on or near moving mechanical parts and loud equipment. Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time as well as lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, reaching, driving, and repetitive motion.
