Position Overview:
As a Pediatric Dentist, you will play a crucial role in our patients' dental health. You will provide comprehensive dental care to children, from infants to adolescents, while ensuring their comfort and understanding of oral hygiene practices. We value teamwork, compassion, and dedication to patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform examinations and diagnose oral conditions in children. Provide preventive care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants. Deliver restorative treatments such as fillings, crowns, and extractions. Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene and dental care practices. Create individualized treatment plans based on each child's needs. Collaborate with a team of dental professionals to provide the best care possible. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Stay current with dental practices, techniques, and technologies.
Qualifications
DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school. Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program. Board certification or eligibility in pediatric dentistry. Active dental license in Utah. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A compassionate approach to working with children and their families. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
