Experienced Aluminum Tig Welder
North Branch-based Precision Welding company is looking for an experienced aluminum TIG welder to join their team. This is a 1st shift position, Monday-Friday, 6AM-2:30PM, minimum of 40 hours with some overtime required. Pay is based on experience ranging from $22-$30 for qualified candidates. All candidates must submit a complete, up-to-date resume, be welding certified, have proven aluminum TIG experience. This is a temp-to-hire position. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform precise TIG welding on aluminum components according to established welding procedures and specifications. Set up and adjust TIG welding equipment, including gas flow and voltage, to achieve optimal weld quality. Follow blueprints and working instructions to ensure proper weld placement and joint configuration. Maintain consistent weld quality by monitoring heat input and maintaining proper filler metal usage. Requirements: Welding certification(s). Aluminum TIG experience. Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Calculate material measurements and tolerances to ensure proper fit-up. Understand the properties of different aluminum alloys and select appropriate filler materials. Knowledge of welding rod/TIG wire used for aluminum welding. Document welding parameters and quality checks as required. Knowledge of different aluminum alloys and characteristics. Proficiency with hand tools and measuring devices.
