Carpenter Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is partnering with a well-established client in Romulus, Michigan within the Modular Home Manufacturing industry. Carpenter - Job Summary : Pay: $19.00 - $22.00/hour based on experience. 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Thursday, with occasional overtime as needed. Responsibilities: Perform rough carpentry work, specifically focused on framing, constructing, and floor installation & deck installation in modular homes. Measure, cut, and assemble various materials using hand and power tools. Ensure that all work is level, square, and securely installed, adhering to building codes and company standards. Work with blueprints, sketches, or instructions from supervisors to execute precise and efficient construction. Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, making adjustments as necessary. Coordinate with other team members, including electricians and HVAC installers, to ensure ceiling systems are prepared for other installations. Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in a safe and organized manner. Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Perform additional carpentry-related duties as assigned to support the modular home construction process. Rough Carpenter - Qualifications : 3+ years of experience in rough carpentry, specifically in floors, decking, framing or ceiling installation required . Experience in modular home construction or residential construction is required. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work orders for carpentry tasks. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for carpentry work. Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards related to ceiling framing and installation. Physical ability to handle heavy materials and perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site. Why Peoplelink?
