Shift: 4 Days, 9 Hours
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide nursing care in the Outpatient Services area, which includes Day Surgery, Endoscopy Lab, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Pre-operative Clinic. This role may involve floating between these departments and meeting the hospital needs for conscious sedation during special procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, focusing on peri-operative education and care. - Monitor and recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications. - Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Participate in pre-operative and post-operative education for patients and families. - Administer infusions and manage patient care as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Previous experience in outpatient or peri-operative settings preferred. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Contract Details:
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week - Contract Length: 91 weeks
