Cherry Creek Clinic, 400 S Colorado Blvd, Suite 900, Denver, CO 80246 Role Overview: As a Phlebotomist, you will accurately collect patient specimens for diagnostic testing while ensuring a professional medical environment. You will work in a dynamic team in various settings, from fast-paced hospitals to clinics, providing a rich opportunity for career advancement and skill development. Utilize various techniques such as venipuncture, capillary puncture, PIVO, and throat swab collections to collect specimens from patients, including newborns and ICU patients. Ensure adherence to personal protective equipment protocols and laboratory compliance and safety regulations. Engage with patients and their families, communicating procedures and providing empathetic care. Opportunities for growth include patient registration, training and mentoring new staff, specimen processing, and various laboratory responsibilities as assigned. Organizational skills are essential as you navigate multiple computer systems and maintain a meticulous work environment. Maintain cleanliness by properly disposing of waste, restocking supplies, and ensuring a safe workspace. Qualifications: Phlebotomist I / Specimen Processor:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; six months of phlebotomy experience or training, or national certification as approved preferred. Phlebotomist II / Specimen Processor:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; twelve months of phlebotomy experience or training, or national certification as approved preferred. Compensation: The hourly range for this position is $18.81 - $24.37, dependent on experience.
