Annual Bonus and Sign-on bonus Company Description QuistMD is a sports medicine, pain recovery, and physical therapy practice located in Chevy Chase, DC. We pride ourselves on a multidisciplinary approach, providing excellent care and addressing complex medical cases successfully. We treat acute or chronic injuries and conditions due to sports, accidents, surgery, physical trauma, or imbalances, including pre-habilitation for planned surgery to shorten recovery time. Along the way, we help patients develop a better understanding of their own body and ways to improve functionality for life. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Physical Therapist located in Washington, DC. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing patient care, developing rehabilitation programs, treating acute or chronic injuries, and addressing conditions due to sports, accidents, surgery, physical trauma, or imbalances. Additionally, the Physical Therapist will conduct patient assessments, create individualized treatment plans, oversee progress, and provide education on injury prevention and health maintenance. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent, and DC licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment Therapeutic and functional exercise A skill set that compromises strong diagnostic and manual abilities The Following Experience/Certifications are a Plus: Experience in sports medicine or healthcare settings Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) Functional Movement Screenings (FMS) Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Athletic Training (ATC) Massage Therapy (CMT/LMT) Personal Training (CPT) Dry Needling (CMTPT/DN) Other Full Time Benefits: HPSO Liability Insurance Reimbursement Quarterly Productivity Bonus $6000 Sign On Bonus for Full Time 40 Hours $4000 Sign on Bonus for Full Time 30 Hours If you are a physical therapist and do not have all of these skills listed, we encourage you to apply anyway!
