Job Overview:
We are hiring Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) for roles in a rehabilitation/skilled nursing setting in Lawton, OK. This opportunity offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus and an additional $2,000 relocation bonus for candidates who move to Lawton (not surrounding areas like Elgin or Cache). PTAs will work closely under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in therapeutic care plans for patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist Administer exercises and therapeutic modalities based on approved patient care plans Support patient mobility, function, and recovery in a skilled nursing/rehab setting Accurately document daily progress notes and discharge summaries Maintain a clean and organized therapy area Provide care for a wide range of patients including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and elderly Ensure adherence to clinical safety standards and scope of practice as a licensed PTA Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current PTA license in the state of Oklahoma (or ability to obtain prior to start) CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience in a rehab or skilled nursing environment preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Willingness to relocate to Lawton if applying for relocation assistance Benefits:
