West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Anesthesiology seek a Neuro Anesthesiologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown, WV.
Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of neuro anesthesiology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the candidate will be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, eligible for state medical license
Completed anesthesiology residency and neuroanesthesia fellowship
Board certified or eligible in anesthesiology
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
About WVU Anesthesiology: The department has the largest anesthesia practice in the state and is the only anesthesiology residency-training program. It includes divisions such as cardiovascular, pediatric, neuro, ambulatory anesthesia, and pain medicine. The department is growing and plans to add clinicians in the next year.
