Outstanding Pediatric Otolaryngology Opening
On behalf of the Cook Children's Health Care System (CCHCS) located in Ft. Worth, Texas , CareerPhysician, the national leader in child health faculty and leadership recruitment, is pleased to announce a national search for a Pediatric Otolaryngologist to join the well-resourced and rapidly growing Department of Pediatric Otolaryngology. The explosive population growth of West and North Texas has led the practice into a phase of expansion that will encompass the addition of key clinical programs and additional surgical faculty.
Opportunity to practice a broad spectrum of Pediatric Otolaryngology in a tertiary care setting with a balanced practice/lifestyle with 1 in 7 call, evening call supported by an ENT RN and no facial trauma call. Supported by 6 advanced practice providers, 2 of whom are dedicated to inpatient service. Large catchment area including West Texas provides significant diversity of pathology.
Key Opportunity Highlights:
- Seeking candidates, including 2024 & 2025 fellows , with interest in joining a thriving Pediatric Otolaryngology surgical practice. Opportunities for a comprehensive surgical practice as well as the ability to develop/expand upon multidisciplinary subspecialty programs according to your interests. While not a required niche, a specific area for growth available is open airway reconstruction.
- Look forward to a culture that does not relegate physicians to treating only 1 or 2 aspects of Pediatric Otolaryngology. All physicians are welcome to pursue all aspects of ENT that are of interest to them.
- Qualified candidates may participate in the fellow s retention program that will provide a monthly stipend of $2,500 from the time a contract is signed through the start of practice with Cook Children s.
- Opportunities available, but not required, to teach medical students and residents as well as pursue clinical research with support including campus IRB, grant writing, research nurses, and a dedicated PhD statistician.
