Join the largest behavioral health organization in the South Puget Sound region at MultiCare Health System, where we’re seeking a talented and experienced psychiatrist to join our faculty and help develop our growing psychiatric inpatient services at Auburn Medical Center. With a 38-bed inpatient geropsych unit and a 20-bed general adult inpatient psychiatric unit, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the launch of a new psychiatry residency program (projected to begin in 2027). You will have the chance to shape and guide the future of psychiatric care while enjoying the benefits of working within a collaborative, supportive environment.
Position Details
Location: Auburn, WA Practice: Inpatient geropsych and adult psychiatric units, faculty duties Opportunity: Participate in developing a new psychiatry residency program Compensation: Competitive salary, starting range $277,936 - $308,818 Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, retirement, paid time off, and more

Position Requirements
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Completion of ACGME or AOA accredited psychiatry residency Current ABPN board certification in psychiatry Completion of a geriatric psychiatry fellowship (preferred) At least one year of experience providing mental health services to the geriatric population Prior teaching experience is a plus DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
