Location(s): Vidor, Texas Company: Optimized Process Designs Career Field: Maintenance & Skilled Trades Job Number: 147927 Job Summary: The Pipefitter is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems, including but not limited to, oil, gas, water, steam, and other fluids. This role requires a high level of technical skill and the ability to work in a variety of environments, including confined spaces and high-pressure areas. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair piping systems Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards Collaborate with other trades and departments to complete projects efficiently Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure the integrity of piping systems Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Journeyman Pipefitter license preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in pipefitting Strong knowledge of piping systems and materials Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical demands include lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and standing for long periods of time.
