Job Opportunity - Site Controller - Client: Confidential
Our client, a key player in industrial resources, is seeking a
Site Controller
to oversee all accounting functions at a critical operation. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Site Controller will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability and operational efficiency of the site. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in financial management, accounting, and compliance, coupled with a strong ability to lead and support the dynamic operational needs of the site. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all accounting functions to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Lead the monthly close process and prepare detailed financial statements. Oversee fixed asset accounting, general ledger, cost reporting, and tax functions. Facilitate the seamless processing of accounts payable and payroll. Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets and ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures. Uphold the integrity of financial reporting while driving operational efficiency. Perform additional duties as required to support the site's evolving needs. Qualifications: A proven track record in financial management and accounting within industrial resources or related industries. Professional Accounting Designation (CMA, CGA, CPA) Expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and operational oversight. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills to manage dynamic operational challenges. Location:
