Mind Computing is seeking a Microsoft PowerApps Developer to support custom workflow applications for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building business applications using Microsoft Power Platform and working with data sources like SharePoint and ServiceNow.
In this role, you'll take ownership of developing and enhancing a PowerApps + SharePoint-based intake and tracking solution that is central to the application packaging process. While your primary responsibilities will focus on app development and integration, we're also open to mentoring the right candidate in the fundamentals of Windows application packaging using industry-standard tools such as Flexera AdminStudio.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and enhance PowerApps-based intake and workflow applications used to manage application packaging and testing requests. Integrate PowerApps with external systems such as ServiceNow, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 services. Work closely with Business Analysts, Packagers, and Testers to gather requirements and deliver automation capabilities that streamline daily operations. Maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, and user instructions. Collaborate with VA stakeholders to identify enhancement opportunities and implement iterative improvements. Participate in cross-training and knowledge-sharing sessions on application packaging practices (as desired or assigned). Requirements:
2+ years of hands-on experience in developing solutions using Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate. Experience working with SharePoint lists, libraries, and permissions. Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and integrating Power Platform apps with tools such as ServiceNow or other ITSM systems. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into functional solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with federal clients or within enterprise IT environments. Additional Qualifications:
