ready to shape the future of mobility. This Michigan-based company is at the forefront of developing

next-generation electrified and hybrid powertrain architectures

known for its collaborative culture, advanced engineering teams, and commitment to sustainable automotive technologies. What Youll Do Lead

Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

efforts using

SysML and IBM Rhapsody

to develop

Components Technical Specifications

for propulsion systems. Create and validate

system test cases for SysML models

to ensure robust component specifications. Develop and maintain

system architecture models

and run simulations using

MATLAB/Simulink, CANoe, and CANape . Validate control strategies using

HIL/MIL methodologies

to ensure robust propulsion system performance. Collaborate with system engineers to validate and update requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals. Drive optimization of

Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV)

systems for

efficiency, safety, and emissions compliance . Ensure adherence to

ISO 26262

functional safety standards and support

ASIL-level

validation. Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional global teams. Contribute across the full

product lifecycle

from concept design to model deployment and launch. What You Bring Bachelors or Masters in

Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering

(PhD a plus). 8+ years of experience in

powertrain or propulsion systems engineering

ideally in hybrid/BEV programs or SCR calibration. Deep expertise in

SysML ,

IBM Rhapsody

(or Cameo),

MATLAB/Simulink ,

CANoe ,

CANape , and

AUTOSAR . Experience with

requirements management tools

(e.g., IBM DOORS, DOORS Next Gen) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint). Solid understanding of

CAN protocols ,

diagnostics ,

HIL/MIL validation , and

ISO 26262 . Familiarity with

AGILE methodologies

and

BEV system design . Proven track record of

driving measurable impact

e.g., 20%+ reduction in development cycles, 90%+ design accuracy, or major cost savings. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and experience working in
