Bronson Behavioral Health Hospital is a newly built 96-bed inpatient facility in Battle Creek, Michigan, providing acute inpatient treatment for adults with behavioral health concerns. Due to expansion, we are seeking an additional full-time Psychiatrist to join our team. Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat mental illnesses through counseling, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and medication. Provide clinical services to patients at the facility. Practice within federal, state, and institutional protocols. Review patient medical information to ensure stability and provide recommendations. Evaluate patients for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. Utilize various psychotherapeutic methods and medications for treatment. Complete and review care plans and document services promptly. Qualifications
Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required. Post-graduate practice experience preferred. Licensed to practice in the state where the facility is located. Licenses and Certifications
Board certification in psychiatry. Current DEA credentials for prescribing controlled substances without restrictions, compliant with state regulations. Additional Details
