Job Description:
As a CRNA, you will be crucial in delivering high-quality anesthesia care to a diverse patient population. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal anesthesia management and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical and diagnostic procedures. Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, including patient history, physical examination, and risk evaluation. Develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans based on patient needs and surgical requirements. Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period, adjusting anesthesia to ensure patient comfort and safety. Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and manage any complications that arise. Collaborate with the surgical team to provide optimal anesthesia care and ensure a smooth perioperative experience. Document all anesthesia-related procedures and patient responses accurately and comprehensively. Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain knowledge of anesthesia practices and advancements. Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program. Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Valid Texas state RN license and CRNA license. Proven experience as a CRNA or in a similar role is preferred. Strong clinical skills and proficiency in administering a range of anesthetic agents and techniques.
