Intuit Overview We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our Marketing Analytics team. This role requires a strong background in statistics, mathematics, and programming, experience in causal inference models, effective communication skills with stakeholders, and a passion for driving data-informed decisions. What you'll bring A strong academic background in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Economics, or Finance. A master’s degree plus 5+ years of post-graduate experience building quantitative models, or a doctorate plus 2+ years of experience. In-depth knowledge of causal inference and experimentation techniques. Expertise in at least one programming language (Python preferred), with experience building models in that language. Proficiency in SQL and Hive. Ability to query and manipulate large-scale data sets in a cloud environment. Strong business sense: transforming vague questions into well-defined analytical problems and success metrics. Excellent communication skills: translating quantitative findings into actionable insights and effectively communicating recommendations to teams and leadership. Experience partnering with business functions, ideally marketing teams. Ability to make wise tradeoffs between speed and accuracy. How you will lead Develop advanced modeling and experimentation methods to measure marketing impact and improve business outcomes. Optimize marketing efforts across media channels to maximize efficiency. Design, launch, and analyze experiments to understand marketing incrementality. Evaluate and identify flaws in experimentation practices and results, especially in marketing environments. Triangulate insights from various measurement approaches and communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders. Collaborate with marketing technology platforms and internal teams to ensure high-quality data for modeling. Intuit offers a competitive compensation package, including base pay, bonuses, and equity rewards. The expected base pay range in Bay Area, California, is $159,000-$215,000.
