About the role : Our clients count on us to make the legal process seamless and efficient, from scheduling court reporters and legal videographers to ensuring transcripts are delivered on time and with flawless accuracy. The People Partner works closely with the Director of People Partners to support geographic regions as a consultant on all People-related issues, provides day-to-day support to local leaders, collaborates with the People Team on support and initiatives, and drives an inclusive, unified people strategy across the organization. What you'll get to do : Employee Relations :
Partner with local leaders to resolve workforce relations issues, conduct effective investigations, and provide recommendations considering all aspects of the employer/employee relationship. Guide local leaders through resolution processes with finesse and discretion. Performance Management : Offer advice on performance issues, facilitate discussions, investigations, and training to address concerns, and support the performance cycle through communication, training, deadlines, and calibration sessions. Retention and Engagement Initiatives :
Support all aspects of the employee journey, analyze turnover and engagement themes, promote DEI initiatives, and recommend programs to enhance participation and education. Policy and Procedure Interpretation :
Be adept in employee programs, policies, benefits, and leave processes, providing recommendations and interpretations to business leaders. People Team Initiatives and Program Support : Support initiatives like Performance Management software, employee engagement programs, and leadership development training. The kind of teammate we’re looking for : Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a people-related function including employee relations, performance management, culture, engagement, and communication. Experience leading employment investigations. At least 1 year of experience in a remote work environment. Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and systems; understanding of employment law is preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or related field; SHRM credential preferred. Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
