Tivolisworld LLC is seeking a forward-thinking and innovative
R&D Engineer
to join our technology team. This role will focus on advancing 3D printing technologies by developing novel techniques, experimenting with materials, and driving innovation across our additive manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and develop new 3D printing methodologies and material formulations. Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to prototype and test innovative applications. Conduct feasibility studies, technical trials, and process optimization. Analyze performance of new materials in print applications and recommend improvements. Maintain accurate lab notes, reports, and technical documentation. Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and academic advancements in additive manufacturing. Support patent research, intellectual property filings, and product innovation pipelines. Present findings and technical recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams. Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in R&D or product development, preferably in 3D printing/additive manufacturing. Strong understanding of polymer science, composite materials, or metallurgy (based on your industry focus). Hands-on experience with CAD software and 3D printing hardware. Familiarity with design of experiments (DOE), data analysis, and prototyping workflows. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Benefits
