Director, Finance and Accounting | Asset Management | Private Equity, Private Credit | Connecting Professionals with Opportunities
In URGENT need of a Vice President/Director level Fund Accountant. This will be joining the company's
NEW
Private Credit arm of the business. They're backed by a highly reputable and tenured global business and are pouring in a ton of resources to build this group from the ground up. You'll be the first joiners and builders of this team, which means you'll be a key player in building best practices, team culture, system implementations and more high-impact capabilities. As long as you've had decent exposure to closed-ended credit funds within a full fund accounting cycle role (reviewing/preparing), this could be a great career next step for you. Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day accounting for closed-end credit funds. Manage month-end close and review deliverables from fund administrators Direct a team of 1–2 associates with an accelerated promotion pathway (1-2yrs) Oversee cash/position reporting and review investor communications, capital calls, and distributions. Own audit processes, support fund tax compliance, and review financial statements Handle complex structures, distressed assets, and valuation workstreams Partner with internal teams to drive accurate reporting and process improvements Qualifications: 8–15 years in a fund accounting and/or audit position 3+ years of direct private credit exposure Strong attention to detail, resourceful and have a go-getter mindset Proven leadership ability with a self-starter mindset and process-driven focus Open to either or both fund admin and direct fund backgrounds. Hybrid onsite schedule (3x/week) Seniority level
