Information about the Company: Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes. We are hiring immediately for experienced Machine Adjusters and Trainee Machine Adjusters in our Chicopee, MA manufacturing plant.
Experienced Machine Adjuster
Experienced Machine Adjuster
- $22/hr or higher depending on experience
- 2 positions are opened on 1st shift 7am -- 3pm (for experienced candidates)
- Additional positions are opened on 2nd & 3rd shifts
- 5+ years of experience as an Envelope Machine Adjuster is required
- $20/hr or higher depending on relevant experience + shift premium on 2nd & 3rd shifts
- Positions are available on 2nd & 3rd shifts for this position
- 4+ years of Intermediate to Advanced hands on mechanical skills required to set up, diagnose/repair production equipment as well as complete changeovers, size changes, etc.
- Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping.
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds with assistance.
- Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.).
- Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.
- Ability to handle high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.
- Mental alertness to stop equipment when jam occurs.
- Training typically takes place on 1st shift for 2nd & 3rd shift positions
- 1st shift 7am -- 3pm; 2nd shift 3pm -- 11pm; 3rd shift 11pm -- 7am
- 2nd shift premium $1/hr / 3rd shift premium $2/hr
- The schedule is Mon-Fri with Saturdays required during busy season/based on business needs
- Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler; basic computer skills.
- Flexibility required with machine assignment.
- **The Trainee position is a developmental role that requires the individual to be successfully progressing to a Machine Adjuster position by successfully completing the training The individual's performance will be evaluated to determine progress in and suitability for the role.
